I grew up in the Midwest, Fargo to be exact... Yah, ya betcha! I knew at a very young age that I wanted to care for others. I did not know until later that it would be as nurse, but I am very happy that life took me down that path.
As a registered nurse, quality patient care has always impacted how I look at and try to solve for challenges we are faced with. I began my career as a staff nurse followed by eight years managing hemodialysis clinics and acute programs. Prior to joining RenalWise, nine years were spent as Director of Clinical Services with a national provider. In this role I was responsible for survey readiness, clinical outcome support, and education. For one year, I took this role internationally, being the first and only clinical person on this provider’s international team. In that role I had the opportunity to perform due diligence, set up education and quality assurance programs in clinics throughout Asia, India, Europe and the Middle East.
I am a graduate of Arizona State Universities Masters in Healthcare Innovation program. This program built upon my foundation of creating innovative ideas that help improve the lives of our patients and caregivers. I loved the program so much that I returned as an instructor!
Family – I love the fact that I get to work alongside my husband Gary. We bring our different ways of looking at a challenge and come up with ideas that we get to share with the Renal Industry. Besides my husband, I have 3 grown sons, two daughter-in-laws and smart and beautiful granddaughter.
Life away from work: I am a Pinterest addict and dream about the days that I get to create a new craft idea or try out a new meal idea. I also love to travel and meet new people from around the world.
