What a great opportunity. I learned that my Representative was hosting Town Halls last Saturday. Unfortunately, the budget chaos did not allow him to attend in person, however, I had a good long audio chat with him! I was able to advocate for ANNA's 2011 Legislative Platform, and secure committments from staff for KDAE Visits!
Please take the opportunity to with your Congresspeople to meet in this way if you can. It was a great experience, completely easy, and armed with the ANNA materials, I felt well armed to advocate for our patients and our profession!
