Catheter exit sites.

I was wondering if any one out there had any experience with using a product to cleanse an exit site that had dried blood or scab like matter before cleaning with chloraprep?

We will soak a 2X2 with ExSept and put it on the site for several minutes, this will help loosen the blood and the scab.
