Acadiana #252

As President of Acadiana #252 it has been an exciting adventure. I have been rewarded by the opportunity to meet and mingle with ANNA members, local and national leaders and the renal community that we serve. When I start the week looking over my calendar, each day is marked with appointments and task yet unfinished! Somehow, with the assistance of the executive committee, we manage to get it all done. As the end of my term approaches, and the coastline is on the horizon, I can look out over the mighty ocean our chapter sailed and be so proud of our accomplishments. I wonder at the lives we touched as we sailed by and smile as I think of those inspirational winds that pushed us on that steady course toward our goals.

As I turn the helm over to the next generation and move forward to new adventures, I will carry with me the experiences of being a part of Acadiana. I have taught and I have learned.

Thank you to the Officers, the members who faithfully supported the chapter and to the renal community who believed in our chapter and the mission goals of ANNA.

We will close the nominations tomorrow in order to organize the voting process. The officers who have  lead the chapter do so because they believe in the ANNA mission and that we can make a difference. Please take the time to look over the candidates listed on the voting ballots next week. Most of all please vote!

Please vote!
