National and Regional Elections!

By Kathey Day posted 01-07-2011 07:38

Elections are over and the winners are announced.

With any political agenda, each candidate brings to the game their own beliefs, opinions, plans, and goals in how they will be able to improve and change things for the betterment of those that they represent. ANNA candidates are no different in this aspect. The mission and goals of ANNA symbolize our dedication to the CKD patients, families, and communities that we serve. Volunteering to help another in need is not dependent on a title, office, and boundary or by any limitations. It is in our hearts and shows in our dedication and actions.

I am very fortunate to have had the opportunity, to serve as an officer with Acadiana Chapter #252 and will look forward to the next adventure. Thank you all for your votes and support in my bid for the Southeast CCE position. I congratulate Becky Benfield and look forward to her guidance in the coming years as our new Southeast CCE.

WAY TO GO BECKY!

CONGRATULATIONS!

From Acadiana #252

During my journey as Health Policy Representative this past year I have learned so much. The most important is that political agendas are a major part of what makes the world go around. The political agenda of not only ANNA officers, but also our government directly affect the care of CKD patients.
I am proud to be a part of an organization that not only promotes such high standards of care, but also encourages and facilitates educational opportunities to the members.
I would like to congratulate all the new officers that have decided to volunteer for this journey!
