Our home dialysis department takes call after the in-center clinic closes for the day. Our patients are to call and talk with the in-center nurses if they have any problems or concerns before they close. My concern is that the in-center nurses are not trained in PD or home hemo and I want some simple triage algorithms for them to use when they get these calls, I also plan on doing a series fo inservices for them. Has anyone develped anything like this that they would be willing to share?
