THIS ARTICLE SAVED ME FROM FURTHER HARM IN A UNFORTUNATE SITUATION THAT I AM CURRENTLY IN. i HOPE AND PRAY THAT THIS ARTICLE WILL PREVENT ALL NURSES FROM BEING PLACED IN A SITUATION, THAT WILL CAUSE HARM TO THEM AND POSSIBLE PATIENTS.
FROM THIS EXPERIENCE, I AM CONCERNED THAT MEDICAL FACILITIES HAVE FAILED TO EDUCATE NURSES THEY EMPLOY AT FACILITIES ON SAFE HARBOR. MY EDUCATION DEPARTMENT LACK THE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THIS LAW, AND HARM RESULTED AS A RESULT. I COULD FIND NO POLICIES THAT ADDRESS SAFE HARBOR AND NO ONE AT MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT THAT COULD ADDRESS MY QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS RELATED TO THIS LAW. I ASKED FOR RESOURCES AND LACK OF KNOWLEDGE RESULTED IN NONE. PLEASE READ THE ARTICLE AND EDUCATE YOURSELF ON SAFE HARBOR. IT CAN TRULY BE A LIFE OR DEATH SITUATION. INQUIRE TO YOU EMPLOYER AND TEST THEIR KNOWLEDGE BASE ON SAFE HARBOR AND ARE THERE POLICIES IN PLACE THAT ADDRESS THIS LAW.
