Inland Empire Chapter 526 Nephrology Nurses Week ( Western Region)

By Nitaya Soeprono posted 10-02-2009 23:06

Our Inland Empire Chapter 526 hosted 2 dinner conferences.

1.  September 15, 2009, at Mario's Place Restaurant in Riverside, CA.  This event sponsored by Genzyme Nephrology Division.
2.  September 17, 2009 at the Mission Inn Hotel in Riverside, CA. This event sponsored by Watson Nephrology

We did sold the raffle tickets for fund raising for the upcoming KDAE booth at the LLUMC family health fair on October.  The ANNA T-Shirts, ANNA Led Light keychains, and the gift cards were raffle out.

The ANNA T-Shirts were the favorite raffle gifts for the attendees.  A lots of good positive comments about the conference topic, speakers, the locations, and the food-:)

Unfortunately, I was out of country during the 2 dinner conferences due to emergency family.  But our other chapter officers, lead by Laurie Gould, Chapter President Elect, Cathy Troia, Health Policy Representative, Eddie Soeprono, Secretary, and Flori Chacon, Treasurer had done a good job on coordinating, interacting with the sponsors and the conference attendees.

Our chapter officers and chapter members are greatly appreciate the 2 sponsors-:)

A late "Happy Nephrology Nurses Week" to all Chaper 526 members.

Sincerely,

Nitaya Soeprono, Inland Empire Chapter President

Yes, we purchased the T. Shirts from ANNA. Our area had lots of members and non-members. I want to make sure that they have a chance to enjoy the activities either one or both of them. Last year, I did only one dinner conference. We did not have enough space for the non-members. Two dinners gave us more chances to recruit and get to know other non-members. I was surprised that many of non-members were CNN, CDN and they came out to participate on our event.

That's great, two dinners. Did you buy the T shirts to raffle ? Out of curiosity, why two dinners a couple days apart sponsored by two different companies?
