Then, the officials invited to attend the luncheon and the KDAE conference. It was very exciting and inspiring when we walk into the conference room. Total of 150 attendees attended the conference and await for the officials to walk in the room.
I though, wow! What a beautiful setting with the vendor booths, especially ANNA chapter 526 booth, which my chapter members set it up in the conference room. They did such an excellent job. Our chapter booth gave away ANNA Led Light key Chains to all the conference attendees and the officials.
Previous two of KDAE poster presentation by Nitaya Soeprono and Dr. Marjorie Tessner at the ANNA National Symposium in year 2008, and 2009 were posted at the entrance of the conference room.
Nitaya Soeprono did the DVD power point presentation on previous "LLUMC KDAE event and How do we get here" to play simultaneously during the KDAE conference registration and while the conference attendees await for the officials to enter the conference room.
Dr. Jerry Winslow Vice President of Mission and Culture addressed and introduced all the 4 officials with a warm welcome from the conference attendees. Then we continue with the luncheon.
During luncheon Dr. Hadley Rogers, Dean School of Medicine and Dr. Sahney Shoba, Chief of Pediatric Nephrology addressed the official and conference attendee re: funding needed for CKD patients and issues that effect our patient's life, the providers, and insurance coverage, and medication reimbursement for dialysis and transplant patient.
After lunch, Jennifer Wickere Health Legislative assistant to Congressman Jerry Lewis from Washington, DC office presented the proclamation to Dr. Jerry Winslow on the podium.
Then the conference continues with the 4 speakers with topic:

At the end of the conference, Jeanne Messinger, Executive Director Patient Care Services presented the surprise award to me, Nitaya Soeprono, as a job well done on helping organize the KDAE event and the CEU/CME conference. I did not expected the honorarium from my boss. My heart full of joy and greatly appreciate her kindness.
