My name is Brandon Cary, and I have dedicated my career to nephrology nursing, with over two decade of experience in hemodialysis. I began my journey in 2006 as a patient care technician, gaining nine years of hands-on experience before becoming a registered nurse in 2015. Since then, I have developed a strong clinical foundation and a deep connection to the hemodialysis population, with a passion for patient-centered care, education, and fostering an inclusive healthcare environment. In 2018, I earned my Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) credential, further strengthening my commitment to excellence in nephrology nursing. Alongside my clinical work, I serve as an associate degree peer mentor, supporting and guiding nursing students as they build their knowledge and confidence. I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, with the goal of expanding my impact on patient care and continuing to advocate for quality, equity, and education in healthcare.
