Cardinal Chapter 201

Proudly serving local communities in the Triangle and Triad area

The ANNA Cardinal Chapter, one of the first chapters in the southeast, was formed in 1978 by a group of nurses from the Winston-Salem area of North Carolina who were interested in meeting their educational needs and pooling their resources. Over the years, the chapter has grown and at times has serviced the whole state and, for several years, included Virginia. There are now four chapters in North Carolina with the Cardinal Chapter serving the Triangle and Triad areas.

The chapter has been fortunate over the years to have had a core of hard-working, motivated nurses to provide leadership and education to nephrology personnel in our area. Our goals for the future remain the same as in the past: to keep our members informed of the latest developments in nephrology, nursing, technology, and legislation that affect our profession. We believe that the enthusiasm and knowledge generated through participation in all areas of ANNA leads to better outcomes for our patients and makes us all better care providers. We pledge to continue to fulfill the mission of ANNA and invite all nephrology clinicians in our area to join us!
