Donation after cardiac death (DCD) (donation upon circulatory death)

Final

Organ donation from an individual whose death results from the irreversible cessation of circulatory and respiratory function.  An individual who is declared dead by circulatory and respiratory criteria may donate tissues and organs for transplantation, excluding heart, and pancreas that are not suitable due to ischemic injury.
