Hello, I work in a hospital unit. We don't have an outpatient license. How do other hospital's deal with chronic Non American citizens that have no insurance? The outpatient clinics require insurance and we seem to have several people who are unable to obtain insurance. We currently have one that is showing up in our emergency department where he is admitted for a 23 hour observation. He is then sent to the dialysis unit where he receives his treatment and is discharged. I would like others opinion in this matter. Thanks.
