I have a question which i am sure someone can answer. Our chapter has been in risk of closing for several years. This year is the same. I am wondering how many officers we need to stay a float. I am thinking we need 3. But my question is what if no one wants to be president elect. can we have a president, secretary and treasure and no president elect?? would this work or do we need a president, president elect and then someone to be both secretary/treasure. i think i can get 3 people for sure for next year but i am not sure if we can get 4. and if we get three no one wants to be president elect. what do you all think.

I feel your frustration. When did we all get so busy with life that we could not take a little time to support our careers? Our chapter has had the same basic officers for over 5 years and we just rotate offices. Occasionlally we get one new person when an old one moves or retires . Our membership growth is minimal and we just can not get the big corporations to encouage their staff to become active or to support the staff in activities. Frustrated in Nebraska!!
